Asylum-seekers are often demonised in  public imagination.  The reality for many is a life of fear, despair and destitution.  We support agencies that work to relieve and assist those who reach our shores and often find the door shut to them.

Keep in touch with us.  We report back to our supporters through our AGM and annual report and by occasional email updates.  And we post information on upcoming fundraising events such as our annual carol singing at Oxford Circus.

Use our Lent Resources.  See below for details of a new five-part resource from LCRF.  Lent starts on Wednesday March 6th and we invite you to pray and reflect at this time on the situation of refugees and asylum seekers.

A new resource from LCRF

Trustees Feb 18

LCRF has issued a set of resources for Lent, encouraging prayer and reflection on themes of migration and refuge.

The resources are suitable for church, group or individual use.  They are made freely available but we hope those using them will be moved also to make a donation to the work of LCRF.
