Our annual speaker meeting has been held back to 7th January 2020 as we are really pleased to have secured the Bishop of London, The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally DBE, as our keynote speaker. The meeting will be at St James' Piccadilly, by kind permission of the Rector, Revd Lucy Winkett, which is very appropriate as that church has a long record of helping and campaigning for refugees and asylum seekers. Timing will be 6pm refreshments for a 6.30 start but we'll remind you of that nearer the time!

Our annual carol singing event at Oxford Circus tube station is our biggest single fundraiser in the year. We have to apply to London Underground for a date and we're delighted to announce that we've been successful in securing Friday 6th December 2019. As usual, the event will run from 3pm to 8pm and we need as many volunteers as possible to sing, play instruments and shake buckets. Save the date now!

Once again, the London Churches Refugee Fund will be holding our annual carol singing at Oxford Circus tube station (underground and out of the elements). Not only is this always huge fun, it is our biggest single fundraising event of the year. Will you come and join us, to sing, play an instrument, hold a collecting bucket or hand out flyers? The more the merrier - quite literally!
The date this year is Friday 30th November. The whole event is from 3pm to 8pm but you can come for whatever part of that suits you. Roughly speaking we divide it into three slots, from 3pm-4.30, then 4.30-6pm, and 6-8pm. To help us with the planning, if you can, please email Maggie Hindley firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know which slot you can do. If not, feel free just to turn up anyway...
Thank you so much for your help and support - and be sure to tell your friends!
